just wondered. . since I was not here last year , I only caught the very tail-end of the gift exchange y'all had. .

sounded really neat, and I can't wait to be a part of it this year . .

so . . without " officially " kicking off the thread . .

would someone just explain how that worked . .? ? when does it start. . ? ?

maybe share some of the speciall gifts that were exchanged. . ? ?

At a certain date, Penny (? I think) shuffled the names and matched everyone up and posted them.
Either we posted what we collected/favorites/or exchanged them in a pm.

I can be a Grinch too..I'd rather give anytime during the year when I see something that I know needs to go to someone , rather than because it is Dec 25th....I just don't buy in to that...

But the BN gift exchange was fun....picking out gifts....Shopping for parrothead stuff.....It is just Fun..
and the Christmas Cards?? That was really fun...Everyday going to the mailbox and finding more...I got more cards than I had ever gotten in my life..and so many people took time to write a personal note in them...

It's really a lot of fun!



(and I found HUGE bags of tropical confetti at a fun little discount store..just warning y'all ahead of time....)

I don't know about Christmas, but the Jimmy's Birthday present and card exchanges seemed fun to participants!

I did the cards one year... never did the presents. I'm stressed out enough trying to get them for family and non-BN friends, that I have to avoid adding to the lists.
