Jake Shimabukuro on Time After Island Time!

Post by Bwana Paul »

Here's Ukin' at You Kid! Part One of Two. Special Guest - Jake Shimabukuro

This week's special guest on TAIT is Ukulele Virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro. Jake is a tremendous talent on the ukulele from the great state of Hawaii. Recently this past summer he joined the Coral Reefer Band for a few shows and is now being revered by Parrot Heads and music fans far and wide. He has a new album, "DRAGON" which will be available soon, but with this special episode of TAIT you have the chance to hear some of those songs before everyone else does! To honor Jake and his beautiful instrument this show is a full hour of music involving the ukulele. If there is no ukulele in it, we don't play it! You will be surprised at the diversity of music you'll hear...from jazz, traditional Hawaiian, to rock and roll...and of course lots of Jake Shimabukuro's music, and talk with Jake himself!
