Nautical Wheelers story
While on the Trails of Margaritaville, Tim told the story behind Nautical Wheelers.
I am sure I heard Jimmy tell the same story on a live concert recording. Does that sound familiar to anyone? I am looking for that recording if anyone knows what show it is from.

WOW, has been a llong time since I have posted here.
As the story goes, the Nautical Wheelers were a square dancing group in Key West around the time Jimmy was playing for beer in Captain Tony's. They use to meet at a acertain time of the month and do their square dancing under army surplus tents.
Do you think they are still around?

I lived in KW for 3 years in the early 70's, and that's the way I remember it. Don't know if they're still around or not.phinzup wrote:WOW, has been a llong time since I have posted here.

Everytime I hear that song now, I picture him!
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave
