I just wanted to know your thoughts on the new Stones cd "A Bigger Bang" I think its a EXCELLENT cd, and if you don't have it, go out and get it. I really love the song "The Streets of Love"
Dude what the hell is wrong with you?A Balding Fan wrote:I think its the biggest piece of s*** to come out since Brittney Spears came out with her first CD. The Stones need to hang it up and retire. To Mick and Keith, DIE RIGHT NOW. This earth needs good drugs, We can not get any til you die and we smoke your ashes.

I'm referring to comments the press made prior to the release of A Bigger Bang. Funny, after it was out, many members of the press changed their collective minds and started saying it was their best since Tattoo You. I just think it's a solid album through and through. Not a masterpiece mind you but an album I've returned to again and again since it's been released.Touch O Parrotdise wrote:ugh..Jahfin wrote:While it doesn't live up to the pre-Exile hype, I still think it's a great album... some girls was the best coming out of the 70's...i know the stones were popular by then.. but c'mon..stop with the it needs to be obscure or early on crap already..
Of all the Stones shows I've seen, the strangest opening act was Prince (they threw bottles at him!) in Anaheim Stadium '78, and the bestJahfin wrote:No offense to Phish fans but I'd love to see a Toots and the Stones bill.Lightning Bolt wrote:Of all the outstanding opening acts that The Stones have invited to join them on this tour...Jahfin wrote:WHAT The Rolling Stones.

I've only seen them once before (Voodoo Lounge Tour in '94) and the opening act was Lenny Kravitz. As is usually the case with opening acts on tours of this size, Lenny was allowed minimum lighting and sound. In fact, as much as I craned my neck, all I could see was some dreadlocks slinging everywhere.Lightning Bolt wrote:Of all the Stones shows I've seen, the strangest opening act was Prince (they threw bottles at him!) in Anaheim Stadium '78, and the bestJahfin wrote:No offense to Phish fans but I'd love to see a Toots and the Stones bill.Lightning Bolt wrote:Of all the outstanding opening acts that The Stones have invited to join them on this tour...Jahfin wrote:WHAT The Rolling Stones.
