Trumpet solo?

Post by Bob Roberts »

I've got a friend that is a high-school band director here in Knoxville. This year, his band is doing a Jimmy Buffett halftime show! That's so cool! Anyways, he called me and said he was needing to put a couple of finishing touches on the show. He's looking for a song with a trumpet solo in it. Any ideas? I can't seem to think of one off the top of my head.

Mexico, Cuban Crime of Passion to name a couple off the top of my head. :)

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

There is a nice version of Pencil thin Moustash from I think that it is the Beach House on the Moon Tour with a longer Trumpet intro. Jimmy Says something like "heres John Lovell.. Sounds Like Jazz to me." Could be wrong but I think that it is on one of the RM concerts that I have. Just an idea.. :pirate:
