I truly hope Aerosmith gets back to the great band they were. Granted, they're still good, but it seems to me that they've been coasting ever since their big Armageddon hit. Hell, let 'em get out there and rock (which they do) but let 'em do some cool s*** in the studio, too!
They've become the kings of the power ballad.
Every song they've released in the last decade, to me, sounds like the same chords, with different words.
Who likes power ballads anyways?
I'll admit a fondness for stuff like "You See Me Cryin'" from the early days but those older ballads aren't nearly as sappy as the new stuff.
I remember playing Toys In The Attic til the vinyl was wore out *ALL EXCEPT* for "You See Me Cryin" at the end!
Later, I started giving the song a chance... it really wasn't bad

2003 Live in Auburn, WA
2003 Live in Las Vegas
2003 Live in Vancouver, WA
2003 Live in Irvine, CA
2003 Live in Mountainview, CA
2003 Live in San Diego, CA
2004 Live in Cincinnati, OH
2004 Live in Mansfield, MA
2005 Live in Hawaii
2005 Live at Fenway Park
These were never released, right?
These were from the Tiki Time Tour from '03 (Hawaii '04), and License to Chill Tour (Fenway 04), right?
I own three, but other than the Hawaii one they are all pretty much the same setlist. One a year is good enough for me.

I have no idea but they are listed as part of his discography at AllMusic.com

I'm pretty sure that's right. The Fenway disc obviously hasn't been released yet (and was actually just pushed back) but was included in the listings because it's supposed to come out next month.

If you're like me and are more a fan of the older stuff, I highly recommend either
Pandora's Box or
Box of Fire:

The guitar intro to this is awesome. What about the song Spaced?
Is it me or does the intro to Lord of the Thighs sound like the intro to Walk This Way?

I love it, as I do all of
Get Your Wings.

Not sure but that gives me an excuse to go back and listen.

Yep. The only difference is where Joey Kramer stresses the drum beat. You'll hear the similarity. On Lord of the Thighs, the stressed drum beat is in the beginning, on Walk This Way, it is the third or fourth (I know it is near the "end").

Pandora's Box is a great album. Haven't listened to it a while, time to dig that one back out!
