here are the details as I got them...and these are final as of Sunday Oct 23 2005.......may you all have a blast at our party.....
JIMMY BUFFETT ROSE GARDEN PORTLAND, OREGON PRE-CONCERT
PARTY INFORMATION

acquaintances! No cover charge, so come on down! All
Ages Welcome!
What: Key NorthWest Pre-Concert Party for the Jimmy
Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band "Salty Piece of
Land" show at the Rose Garden Arena, Portland, Oregon
on Thursday, October 27, 2005.
When: 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm or so, Thursday, October 27,
2005
Where: Doubletree Hotel Lloyd Center, 1000 NE
Multnomah, Portland, OR, right across from the Lloyd
Center. NOTE! NEW PARTY LOCATION! We will be in the
Exhibit Hall (holds 1,000 people!) which is right
across the breezeway from the main entrance to the
hotel. It is weatherproof and everything (drinks, food

renaming the hotel the "Twin Palms" for the day! The

the evening, and it's a free MAX light rail train ride
from right next to the Exhibit Hall to the show and
back.

tropically inspired songs out that can also play Jimmy
Buffett tunes as well as anyone. He and his band will
entertain us and should provide a great way to get
ourselves in a tropical mood!

throughout the area, serving Coronas, margaritas,
mixed and well drinks. We will also have "shot girls"
selling shots of Margaritaville Tequila!
Food: Several all-you-can eat buffet(t) lines ($6.00

to raise money for hurricane relief.
Raffle: Our friends at Margaritaville Tequila and
Corona Beer have graciously provided some great prizes
to raffle off for hurricane relief.
Book Signing: We have a Northwest author who will be
there signing her novel that features a Parrot Head,
with half of the proceeds going to hurricane relief.
Rooms: If you need a place to stay, the Doubletree
(aka "Twin Palms") has rooms available for $99.00 for
the evening. You can call them at (503) 281-6111 and

that is a good question....I am guessing that since its a hotel pool, that it should be ok!...I do know that last time we had a corona beer stand at the pool and that was pretty cool....
let me do some checking and I will let you know....

make sure they bring lots of Advil for the next morning cause its gonna hurt.....that old Buffett saying, "I have been drunk now for over two weeks" holds true for me from the last time he was here....it was brutal but soooo damn much fun....and this is looking to be bigger and better then last time......
I hope you Enjoy!!!!

"I have made enough money to buy Miami but p*** it away so fast" is the line that JB sang for me. I get depressed trying to add the figures in my head. I could probably be living next door to Bill gates & have paid for the house cash. It has been a long strange trip indeed.

oh god...you dont want to be in Hillsboro at 2pm and then have to fight traffic on 26 heading into Portland at that hour....get out of your apt if possible and be at the pool at the "Twin Palms" at 1pm.....you will have much more fun......and of course I am always on my 3rd or 4th drink before the wheels of the plane leave the ground.....isn't that what the bars in the airports are for........

I hope I can get out of the meetings... but I work in Investor Relations and that is reporting day for 4 of my clients! BUT -- I will be there!
FYI -- I ran the Portland Marathon yesterday in a flower lei and with my Fins Up Jimmy Buffett Braclet!!! Also, I was a bit surprised that the song "Jolly Mon" was my motivator on my IPOD. Love the song, but who knew that I'd hit repeat and listen to it for four miles straight??
