we've had a couple tragedies here.
Last week a hs senior died in a car accident, going a bit too fast on wet ground.
The local kids are quite devastated as are the families concerned. My sons knew the boy to say hi. My son just found out that a fellow lifeguard he is friends with who was also good friends with the boy from the accident committed suicide last night. This is just awful. He was good friends with the boy who died's surviving brother and has a younger brother himself. What a tragic waste. So keep those concerned in your thoughts and prayers.

Lots of Phlorida Phin Power headed their way. Having 2 sons myself (19 & 23) I've observed that a lot of young people feel invincible, and think bad things wont happen to them or their friends. So when something does happen, they are sometimes very distraught. Unfortunately both my sons have lost friends to accidents, drugs and suicide. It's important to be there for them..sometimes not saying anything. They just need to know their family is concerned and available!
