I just got a message in my box here at work asking for a donation to the fund for National Boss Day.... Its on Sunday this year!
I am not a fan of Hallmark holidays... however rather than be branded with a big L on my forhead.... I'll chip in a few bucks towards the rediculous gift the "committee" will buy....
However....since a major part of the work force works Monday - Friday....Would someone PLEASE tell me why they would make Boss Day a Sunday?
Oh and in case you needed to know... Sweetest Day is tomorrow....

I just read this morning that it's always on October 16--so all those "celebrating" (woo hoo!) Boss's Day usually do it the Friday before or Monday after. Yea, Hallmark Holidays are really stupid.

Mr. Topless purposed on Sweetest Day in 1997..... but he didnt know it.... I didnt either...until a few days later
But since my boss didn't do anything for Secreta... oops, I mean Administrative Professionals Day this year, no Boss's Day for him!! And Sweetest Day... pshaw!
Neither are on any of the 4 calendars here in the office either, so apparently none of them are from Hallmark or American Greetings!
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave
In honor of bosses day. I will make a series of stoopid, idiotic decisions for no apparent reason and then enforce them on my family with weekend threatening consequences if not followed to the letter.
I'm sweet everyday, no need for anything special there
"Boat drinks, waitress we........nevermind"
He ain't wrong he's just different
but his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

The WORST Hallmark Holiday is "Sweetest Day". Where the f*** did this come from?
When I was in college, this holiday suddenly appeared. I was dating a psycho girl, Lora, who one day was really p*** off at me. I couldn't figure out why. Turns out I had missed getting her anything for Sweetest Day.
I HAD NEVER IN MY LIFE HEARD OF THIS STOOPID "HOLIDAY". Yet I was given hell about it for 2 years before I finally dumped her crazy butt.
