Had to dig this up to share... a van pulls up outside my office, and an elderly couple, who look like they could be married about 60 years, lumber out of it. When the man gets by the woman, I notice they have on matching shirts... white with 2" green clovers patterned all over em!! Now for all I know, they're just dating... but my guess is, once a twinkie couple (a term I never heard of), always a twinkie couple!!

When I was with my last girlfriend there were times when we'd be dressed similar. But after 6 years, I think it just become sub-conscious. It didn't happen often, but there were a couple of times that it did. Then it stopped when we'd stay over each other's place and actually see what the other was wearing.

I agree with Tiki and have never heard the term before.
BUT, I did have an Uncle and Aunt that didn't exactly dress alike, but always coordinated.
If she wore a brown skirt and beige top, he would be wearing a brown jacket with beige slacks.

It was like that with every outfit they wore.

a) for you, Superman probably works. The only time I found my Skeletor underroos to come in handy was going to the door to greet Jehovah's Witnesses
b) no.

A) ...then there were the fire truck underoos, and the disney ones - which I don't get, why would anyone want Mickey's head on their a**?
B) Really? No?? I mean the Fundies look the same so in a way (a very bizzare one yes) you are dressing the same.

I'm single because I haven't found a woman who deserves a catch as great as I am.
