I thought this was a forum for DISCUSSION. Not the BN version of EBay

It's not. If some of you folks weren't so uptight maybe you'd realize I was just trying to pass the word on what I think is a worthy new release. By the way, the link is only to Amazon (not Ebay) so you can check out the expanded tracklist from what many of us consider to be a classic record. No one is saying you have to purchase it from them. By the way, don't look to the top of your screen, it includes links to other sites besides BN.

Jahfin,
I'm not uptight. It just hit me wrong.
If your initial post had included the link and pic of the album along with a few of the comments you added above it would make sense to me. I am a HUGE Joe Cocker fan and thought this was going to be a discussion of some sort about him. Even if it was a discussion about the new MD&E drop, it would have been fine.
Lighten up. The links at the top of BN help Jim keep it online.
Keep the blue side up!

Again, someone trying to tell me how to post... For the record I saw this posted elsewhere in the exact same manner it was posted here. You know what? No had one ill word to say about it. If you want to discuss the record nothing is stopping you, go right ahead. Just because my post included an image and a link to the tracklist doesn't exclude the album from discussion.
Speaking just for myself, I'm pretty sure the Maddogs and Englishman album is one of the first places I heard Leon Russell and Joe Cocker. I never became much of a Cocker fan (though I do like him). My Leon fandom lead me to pick up such great records as Asylum Choir II with Marc Beno and the essential Hank Wilson's Back Vol. 1. I just regret that I never got to see Leon live back in his heyday. He's still out there touring and I highly recommend catching his show if you ever have the opportunity but he sticks mainly to the hits and interacts with the audience very little. In fact the biggest treat I had when I saw him was hearing his daughter Tina Rose pretty much steal the show.
