Get some extra for me too.

Actually that would probably go over pretty well in VT...
Yes, my aunt has a cabin up in VT. I know the "area" fairly well. 8)

Haha!! I'm not opposed to giving him a swift kick in the rear, but in his defense, we have A LOT going on with our house/car/family right now that even suggesting Hawaii last night was pretty risky!

Sorta! I think I just caught him at a bad time. Timing is everything. I'll give him one more go tonight after he's had a few beers and a shot or 10.

Heck, I'm not even sure I want to do it, but I at least want to look into it. I'm sure I can get him to agree to that part.

Now you're letting him brainwash you. I can solve the house issue. Sell it. Car? Sell that too. (In Hawaii you can surf to work.) Family? They're gonna love it! Just get a big enough place so that when they come to visit, you're not overburdened.

Although I couldn't see myself living in Hawaii permanently I'd certainly love to live there for 3-5 years or so! If you think you could move back if you started to feel too isolated out there then you should definately do it! DO NOT however not do it because "I'm scared to death to even pursue it"!! That's a horrible reason not to do stuff!

When you master that.... that is the key to a happy relationship!!! I have had more good ideas shot to hell due to timing....LOL

But I love your excitement and there is no harm in boosting your ego with interest from another company.

Exactly!! I don't see myself being there forever. It's just too far away from everything I know and love, but 3-5 years is DEFINITELY something that is up my alley!

I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't at least look into it!!

Ya wanna pay for the mold mitigation?? :-? :-? :-? That's probably the biggest hold-up right now. We have quite a bit of work to do on our house before we can sell it.

When I was in newspaper, before the investment banker whores bought the company that owned us, we were part of Donrey Media. An opening came up at the Hilo paper (another Donrey property) for an advertising director. My publisher and ad director said they would recommend me. We only had one keet at the time and sometimes I still kick myself for not going after that

Well, I got hubby to agree to at least pursuing it. We always said we wouldn't leave Colorado until my parents and his grandparents had passed away, because they are very close with our kids, so this definitely falls outside what we've talked about for our family plans.

I think he's more worried that I'll travel from CO to HI frequently and he won't get to go.
