I recall a major snowfall in Colorado a week or so ago. I probably won't have to use the snowblower for another month.buffettbride wrote:But unlike other snow-ridden locations, ours actually melts throughout the season...we get warm days in the middle of winter unlike you unlucky east-coasties!SuperTrooper wrote:So you live in COLORADO?!?!?!?SMLCHNG wrote:Nope.I LOVE summer.. but love fall just as much. But that snow is all gone!! It was gone the day after it fell!! And that kind of snow is really more like thick rain!SuperTrooper wrote:I recall a major snowfall in Colorado a week or so ago. I live here in CO for many reasons.. lots of which outweigh a couple of months where there's a chance of some snow.

Around this time of year, I really start to like Boat Drinks, Brown Eyed Girl, Weather is Here, among other great summer songs. Unless it's on the slopes, I can't stand snow, or winter.
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

it seems like winter is upon us.
it lasts way too long here. it makes me depressed.
i have way more warm weather clothes than cold climate ones, which is crazy since i'm here in the snowbelt!!! UGH!!!
if it wasn't for the job situation, i'd be where the weather suits my clothes.

I just want it on record....SweetMelissa wrote:buffettbride wrote:Fall in Colorado is beautiful. I'll always prefer the warmer weather, but sweaters make my boobs look good.
Also, here it will warm up in the middle of winter, so we at least have some intermittent 60 degree days to look forward to.
Don't you love that? I guess that is one positive side to the warm clothes.
NO SWEATERS (or anything else, for that matter)
make boobs look pretty damn good too!

I agree...and now I have to cut my toenails more often!!Coconuts wrote:I can deal with the short days, I can deal with the sweaters (makes it easier, doesn't matter what color the bra is), I can tolerate wearing pants (I wear dresses to work all summer). You guys are helarious. I checked this thread earlier, came back just now and was gonna post something about seasonal depression. But I see its now about well endowed attributes becoming more well endowed with winter clothing. All I can say is that in the winter I can cover up my chicken legs with jeans. And I think thats a bonus to the people around me.
