I get so jealous watching those reporters that are sent to cover the hurricanes. I understand the danger and all that, but I would love to have that job!!

yep. And there have been a few times when i've stayed during a storm that in retrospect I should've left. This season has taught me how foolish that really is.

Oh most definitely!! I have actually thought about driving to the coast when a hurricane is forecast to hit the area. I would love to be in the eye at least once in my life.

I was in Wilmington, NC last year when that one (Ivan maybe?) crossed Florida, went into the atlantic then came into the NC/SC border as a Cat I... The power was out at our hotel and we had nothing better to do so we went to Wrightville Beach and watched as it blew over! Very cool even though it was only a Cat I... still had 70 MPH gusts!f2cdlzrd wrote:Oh most definitely!!
