I don't mind it when appropriately used as a colorful metaphor...... It's particularly useful if you just slammed your finger in the car door. Or if the dog just dragged the Thanksgiving turkey off the table. 8)

But I hate it when it's used as every part of speech, sometimes in the same sentence... :roll: :-?

Many of the words that bug me have been listed already. One that does get to me though is the word "got." I don't mind it in conversation, but reading it just bugs me for some reason---just not an appealing word.

Like.......bothers me alot. A secretary at work would say "like" an "um" all the time. It made her sound like more of an idiot than she already was.

Pacificly......as in "I pacificly told you I would be there at 3:00"
I am no longer fighting my inner demons. We are on the same side now.
