an unopened cup of yogurt that's dated October 24? I left it in the refrigerator here at work before I went on vacation. Think I can still eat it and not get sick?

I wouldn't eat a cup of yogurt, regardless of the date...

i'd imagine so. i'm pretty sure i've fudged the due-date on yogurt a few times. not by much. i'd bet your safe.

don't you have lab bunnies somewhere around the hospital you could test the yogurt with?

It should be good past the due date, unless it is lemon flavor. Something about that goes bad quickly....gives you a big chest.
