Bottled or Tap??

Post by mings »

Lets talk water. Bottled, Purifed, or Tap? Let's have at it.
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

I think I drink purified. It's from our refrigerator that has a filter. Sometimes bottled, but I'm not askeered to drink water from the tap either.

I have a PUR filter on my tap........so it doesn't taste like I'm drinking pool water.....

You forgot the "well" option for us current/former country pholk! The best water I ever tasted hands down was my grandparents'......their water came outta the tap ice cold and just perfect.....

Actually really the best water I've ever tasted comes directly out of the ground and not filtered.....Ranger Springs in the Sky Lakes Wilderness. The head waters of the middle fork of the Rogue River.....mmmmmmmmm!!

Not all well water is good. My apartment has well water that is just awful! Not even a PUR filter can make it good. It etches my glasses and I need to use limescale remover to wash them. I tried lobbying my landlord to get a whole-house filtration system (it lengthens the life of water-using appliances too) but no dice.

I vote in them often enough, I just got so stoked that I was actually scooping Mal on a poll that I wanted to post it asap.

Yikes! Yeah...this is true. I've had some pretty nasty well water too.....there's was quite exceptional! My parents' has a lot of iron and sulfur in theirs so it smells like rotten eggs. They get the bottled water by the 5 gallon for drinking....

I still don't understand why people pay money for water unless they live in a place where the water supply is knowingly contaminated... Back when I was a boy after I walked both ways uphill to school and back I always had a nice refreshing glass of tap water and I turned out just fine! :o

Ditto! I see what the rust does to the tubs, sinks, etc.. That is not going in my body! I don't want to end up like the tin man!

I know - there have been other kind souls who have pointed out my inability to list all of the options. :(
