I'm gonna venture a guess and say she's Melissa's *UGLY* friend, or else she wouldn't have to use her deep, dark secrets against her.

I certainly wouldn't put yourself in a situation to be hurt by a person that admits they're likely to do it again.....geez.
I agree, not promising. Once burned, twice learned. You don't really need friends like this, do you?

If it's all relative, every one of Melissa's friends are ugly.
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

It does sukk to lose your ugly friend. They are such an asset when you go out. I lost my ugly friend, too, on my 23rd birthday.

((Melissa))

I'm sure there are many other ugly girls out there that will be your friend.

I think they prefer to be called "the undesirables". Or "the Shanes"

You know, I think this is a scientific fact. I was at a bar last week with a buddy and we noticed that every group of girls in the place was either hot with one ugly friend, or ugly, with the token hot friend.

Ugly friends?? That is terrible! :D :D :D

Just getting up to speed Melissa.... I have learned never to tell anyone anything I do not want repeated on the nightly news... with exception to BNers of course..... That way you avoid things coming back to bite you! Just for future reference!

As for your friend... I always ask the question... Will this (whatever this happens to be) impact my life is 5 years from now? If the answer in no.... move on!

The contract killer is probably easier for us to hire considering we're in the right city. Maybe they can even invited us out to see their work - you know - before you sign the contract and all.
My girlfriend is Italian and I'm convinced that her father is a mafia boss... If I can just get her to admit it to me I can probably get a family discount or somethin'... :P
is he in the wholesale produce or waste disposal bidness?
No but he is a retired importer/exporter and we all know that is a make believe job. And incidentally, per your last post, his name is Tony. :o
I met this Italian couple from Brooklyn while visiting a college friend in south Florida. He was in the construction business and then moved to south Florida to open a Italian restaurant, and yes they did have the thickest Brooklyn accent you could believe.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Maybe that's the age that the ugly friends wise up and begin to appreciate their inner beauty and lose the superficial hot "friends." :D

Back on topic, I'm with Paige here. I forgive and forget in a heartbeat when someone says "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that."

But I'm awful about dwelling on a wrong when someone has no remorse and is inclined to do it again. Those are the hardest to forgive... I've had a horrible two years with two "friends" here, and I'm finally TRYING to take hubby's and other friend's advice and let these two go. There's so much drama with people who aren't really your friends, but try to make you think they are to your face!
