Wally World said they were going to begin their ad campaign today
But there was a Christmas episode of Home Improvement on TBS today.
Anybody see/hear Christmas Commercials yet?
Allow me to change that....

Thankfully, no Christmas commercials yet. But it's like a big storm creeping up on you. You know it's coming....

(Insert cursing and muttering here)
I must have spent a good ten minutes today griping (ok, bitching) about all of the Christmas commercials on tv now. I counted seven (and they weren't the same ones over and over again) between 6:30 and 8 this evening. Ridiculous. I'm just getting ready for Thanksgiving and damnit, I want to enjoy that before I think about Christmas!
SOAB! There's one on right now! 'Join us for the CBS lighting of the tree in Philadelphia.....'

There have been several full page ads in the Chicago papers announcing the November 12th lighting of the tree at Marshall Fields. Awfully early, but they use an artificial tree now too.

I noticed that too.....a couple of the stations here in Savannah have been playing Christmas music non-stop the past few days.

Is 98.7 The River one of those perhpas?
As a matter of fact....yes!

I just saw my first christmas commercial ..... wal-mart "home for the holidays" starring Martina McBride. It was a nice commercial. No wow factor for me. But nice....
