My brother's buddy works in Orlando. There's a bar there that he won't go to because the beers are $1.25 - too much money for his wallet.

I remember dime beer night at Mitchells in Whitewater, and I remember $0.95 for any drink at Champs in Lake Geneva.

I can still get $.75 pints, $1 bottles, and $1-$2.50 shots quite a few places around here.

I don't think you can get a restraunt license in this part of PA unless you have scrapple on the menu.

Any self-respecting Philly/PA area diner has a "Side of Scrapple" on the menu.

Back in the day I knew where drink specials were on which night..... Wednesday was a popular weeknight to be out. Now days since the keets are gone...we go out whenever it strikes our fancy!

A friend forwarded me an Excel spreadsheet with all the Happy hour details for a whole *hit-load of Manhattan bars. Specials, addresses, times of offers, etc. Apparently, some summer intern at another ad agency made the list. I figure a bar a week should keep it alive for a while, and be fun. Gotta love interns.

Sunday through Friday, I have to be home by 1:30am, since that's what time my hubby leaves for work. It sounds easy enough, but when I do go out on those nights, I either barely make it in time, or I'm late and get grounded! For some reason, most of the places we go are at least an hour away, and it's especially hard on a Friday night to pull ourselves away from the fun by 12:30! Plus you have to drop everyone off at their houses etc, which takes some time.

Love seeing Tiki out late and trying to make it home in time to make curfew. She never does though. There is not a night she won't party, which reminds me, when we hitting the town and triangles together???

Used to be Thursdays for me, too. Now if we go, we usually make it a Saturday so we can sleep late next morning.

Gaaah! I'm old.
