My husband and I wondered about that as we watched the segment--we wondered if they featured the other woman b/c she was so much more emotional, and she wanted to be concealed, so that made her more "dramatic." Not that she didn't do a good job as well....just something we talked about.

I thought you were great! I think it is good to show people that you are refusing to continue being a victim....that you are moving on with life.

Here is the link that was broadcast several weeks ago about emotional abuse....

http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=9923e ... 4699-bbea-

(not certain why it's not loading..you might have to cut and paste to get to the site)

I post only for those still at home suffering....
you are not alone.. you are not worthless... and it's not your fault.

There are others here who have survived it that got in touch with me... if you are in a like position, please don't hesitate to get in touch and I can refer you to others who are here and have suffered the same kind of shame and self destruction.

I wish that it would have been broadcast how Bubba's music heped me, but alas.. it didn't.. all I can say is that Jimmy Buffett was MY very own, Dr. Phil.... his music gave me some mental vacation away from the emotional hell. Others have said the exact same thing.

Godspeed to those that have survived and gotten out and Godspeed to those who still suffer and believe the lies their abusers give to them.

The link will help greatly to explain what emotional abuse is.. and how to get out of it. Again, Godspeed.
