"Sea Cruise" is on one of the Margaritaville compilation records.

"Lovely Cruise" is on Changes In Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes.
5 Clock somewhere isn't on one of Jimmy's albums. It is on an Alan Jackson CD but not A Jimmy Buffett CD.
Not sure why that bore repeating since I said pretty much the same thing in my post.
I think its my job thought you were saying that "5:00" was already on an album, which as you said it is. I think he meant it as Jimmy and Mac doing it as they do in conerts.
I was saying it was already on an album, Alan Jackson's, just as "it's my job" did. The way it was worded it was though I'd said it was on a Buffett album. I don't get the "Mac and Jimmy" reference as nothing was said about that at all by either of us.
I think "imj" wanted it to be a studio of just Jimmy and Mac, without Alan Jackson. In concert when Jimmy plays 5:00 Somewhere Mac takes the place of Alan Jackson and sings the 1st and 3rd verses and Jimmy takes the 2nd, hence the Mac and Jimmy reference. :)

I don't really like the idea anyway and hope he never does it. :-?
I've heard the live version with Jimmy and Mac but since it's my job never mentioned that at all in his post I never got the impression that was the version he was referring to. Anyway, all I was trying to point out is that there is no studio version on a Buffett album but there is one on an Alan Jackson album which is exactly what it's my job said when I just posted nearly the same exact thing.

I know Jimmy's cover of "Southern Cross" is on numerous live albums but one of my buddies asked me if Jimmy ever recorded a studio version of this. I told him no not that I am aware of but I just figured I'd post it on here just in case there just so happens to be a studio version out there :D 8)
You're correct. It's on the "Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays" C.D., along with the LIVE concert C.D.s.
Maybe someday soon he'll get it on a studio C.D. along with some of the other excellent cover songs mentioned in the previous posts here.
