Haven't seen it, but read the book-see my comment on page 1  (I THINK it's page one, anway)
Saw it in Chicago a couple of months ago and enjoyed it a lot---there are a lot of very funny lines that refer back to the movie.

Now, for any of you Wizard of Oz fanatics---next time you watch the movie, pay close attention to Dorothy's hair-you will be surprised at what you have missed for years!!!!!
OH PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE tell me!!! I can't watch the whole thing tonight.....what have I missed???????? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

There are a couple of theories as to why this happened, but if you watch closely (I seem to remember it is most obvious in the scene with the scarecrow, her hair changes length. At times it is really obvious.....once you are looking for it. Apparently different wigs were used and they weren't as good at "continuity" issues as they should have been.

I was told this several years ago, and now it seems so obvious to me, even though I had never noticed it in the dozens of times before.

If you start "Dark Side of the Moon" at the the same time as the movie
the CD matches up as an alternate sound track..

Thanks! (I guess I wined loud enough! ) I'll definitely be looking for that next time I watch. I didn't even realize they were wigs!

I personally dislike the Wizard of Oz. However, I heard if you play the movie on mute and listen to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" it's a really cool experience. Anyone tried this? Thanks.

I tried it ... I didn't see the big deal (perhaps "chemical enhancement" is needed...)
