Very interesting...rsgeist wrote:Larry, I fully understand your point and I wouldn't argue for a second that Utopia is possible (or for that matter even desirable). As I said before, I'm always skeptical about these types of "programs", but I'm willing to give them a try if there's a chance of reducing the frequency of the former. Some people were treated to crude and rude comments from OTE when he posted here under another name. He was banned and now, he returns under a different persona and claims that his behavior was for the purpose of academic research.maggiemay56 wrote:I am confused. That persona came on the boards being rude and downright nasty to people

That persona and OTE now claim that the unacceptable behavior and attitude were because OTE was doing it at the direction of his professor (who is also a BN'er but who this professor is I have no ideal cause OTE won't say and the professor hasn't come forward and revealed themselves) as research for his masters thesis that he was writing back in the summer.
that's about where this thread picks up
You have absolutely zero credibility. None.

When he and his wife were on the board under their "other" name they were extremely rude, insulting and instigating problems here. I fail to find how the insults and wishes of death made here correlate to childhood bullying. IMHO your reasearch "here" is extremely flawed as you don't know the background of the people you chose to target to bully.
You're full of them in regards to BN! You come in here, sling insults and make rude insinuations about people for months & then insist on the misconception that BN is full of exclusive cliques! BN doesn't exclude newcomers... they are most welcome. Ask mings, ask rsgeist, aske davesnik, ask many, many others.
You are so full of crap. I'm all for inclusion... in society, in the workplace, in schools. But for you to boast about your academic exploits, yet come here and act the way you do is the biggest demonstration of hypocrisy I could ever find!!!(I feel so loved.) And Jodi always offers me popcorn - good times!

A while back, under a different screen name, OTE was very active on this board... but unlike the persona he is attempting to exude now, back then he was rude, insulting, belligerant, and consistently complaining about how he was treated. His wife logged in under his screen name and operated the same behavior. They both made unprovoked derogatory comments about people and wished unfortunate things to happen to others. Yet through all this, he/they consistently played the victim saying they were treated unfairly and excluded from said 'clique'. All the while continuing to be aggressive and stirring arguments for no reason other to gain attention or to be a jerk... whatever.maggiemay56 wrote:I am confused. Are there old threads to read that might help here? Are we discussing intolerance or the credibility of OTE? Sorry, I don't understand all the hostility.
Mind you, that's only my perception... please take input from others and form your own opinion.
