I have recently purchused tickets for the Phish Tour. I have come to a new realization. They have a great way of buying tickets. Its all done by mail order. Go to their site for the information. www.phish.com go to fall tour and read up on this way. I think it'd work great if Jimmy followed suit. What do you think?

Cabanaboy you are right, Phish, Bob Dylan, The Greatful Dead "leftovers" are all doing this as are a few country acts but don't look for it to happen with Buffet anytime in the near future. There's plenty of ways to do this but Ticketmaster, the major promotors and SFX are all against it and since Jimmy Buffett is a big time draw and a scapers delight they would never let it happen. Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Smashing Pumkins, they all tried something different at one time or another and they all came back to doing it the same old way as we are doing it, Standing in line and getting shut out due to some ticketmaster lottery system or paying large sums of money to a "Ticket Agency".
Another reason this will never happen is the biggest difference in Parrotheads and Phishheads is their annual salaries, Parrotheads have no problem shelling out 300 bucks for tickets. WE ARE THE PEOPLE OUR PARENTS WARNED US ABOUT.

Hey all you Parrotheads in Raleigh and Maryland! Just checked the Ticketmaster website and they've released more tickets for the show tonight (8/22) and the show on Thursday! Just thought I'd let you know. I think the tix in Raleigh were Section S and seats in Maryland are on the lawn. Good Luck and Phinz Up!
