Jimmy plays Harvard...almost!

From today's Boston Globe: Buffett had Harvard crowd on a string

Folks who showed up at Harvard yesterday to hear Jimmy Buffett talk about the role of celebrities in government came this close to being serenaded by Mr. Margaritaville. When a Parrothead in the audience handed Buffett a children's guitar and requested that he play a tune, Buffett tried to oblige. But when the songwriter -- who'd been invited to speak by his friend and fellow Floridian former US Senator Bob Graham -- was tuning the tiny guitar, a string snapped. Oh well. By the way, Buffett's new CD and DVD, ''Live at Fenway," is out now.

Yeah, I'd love to know what he talked about. I may not always agree with all of his politics, but I'd guess he's one of the more intelligent politically active celebrities. I'd be interested in his perspective.
