Searching For Video Info

I was in New Orleans Margaritaville today and saw great video of "The Wino and I Know". Does anyone know where the video was shot? It looked liked the show from last year's show in New Orleans at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre. It only showed Jimmy and Mac on acoustics. I was at the show and wondered if there's any plans for a "full blown" video.

Well the one in Vegas had it from the Vegas 2003 show that the CD is from.

It just kills me to see all the concert videos in Margaritaville. They have obviously recorded many shows, yet we don't have a full blown concert DVD.

While in Vegas for the 10/22 show, I was shopping in Margaritaville
the next day Sunday. I start hearing Coconut Telegraph and Jimmy says we need to push the storm west. It was from Alpine in 2003. To top it off they were showing the crowd and there I was with my brother in law in the 16th row. Would love to get a copy of that video. I think once Jimmy "retires" we will see a flood of past concerts, rarities, and un released demo's. He probably has enough in the can to put out another box set which I hope he does.

Yeah another box set would be perfect. BBBB can be for the popular music, great starter set for new fans. The new box set could be live rarities, alt versions, demos, rehearsals, etc for the fans who have it all. I would love to see this... soon... next week maybe. :D

You have a full show on DVD? How and where did you get it? Is it good quality? Just wondering.... 8)

Yeh, I've got a handful of DVD of varying quality. Most are hand helds, but are very watchable

Keep your eyes open on this site and expecially the bit torrent sites for shows. The Millenium show is a popular one that I see offered quite often.

WELCOME TO BUFFETTNEWS!!! :D :D

To answer your question, not sure about the particular clip you saw, but Mailboat has talked of releasing the NOLA "Coastal Confessions" ever since. I don't think any definite release dates have been determined as of yet, but many of us are very very hopeful / eager to see it!

Nothing really the matter with the first box set since it does include a few rarities but this is exactly the sort of thing I was hoping would have been included.

A couple of you mentioned that another box set is due. I've got a very fitting name for it. "From Country to Calypso and Back"
