Heard from the boss today, I gotta discuss Chicago with him tomorrow, but starting in January, I'll be spending the better part of 3 months working in the USVI!!

Wow, what a neat deal!!! And what a time of year to be going!

Let's see...Jan-Mar in the USVI...take your passport (or get one ASAP) because the British VIs are wonderful and you'll have to spend at least a couple weekends exploring there!

Already got the passport. I remember reading somwhere that some of the best sailing in the world is in that area, but I can't remember the name of the spot. I figure I'll be spending at least a couple weekends sailing, which I haven't done in far too long.

I did a schooner ship sailing cruise through the VIs (mostly through the BVIs) several years back...it was outstanding!! The whole Drake Channel through those islands is a sailors' paradise. I've heard there are plenty of options available.
You'll at least have to send us a postcard (a.k.a. post adventures and pictures).
