it depends. People will like the coffee. But if they want mocha frappuccino they'll still leave to go to the local coffee place. It's a nice move on the mgmts. side. It depends on how much they think they'll get out of it.

I doubt it. I hardly ever leave to go for coffee and drank what was in the office anyway. If I stopped for a mocha, I'd do it on my way into the office.

in my rough draft proposal for working at home
I figured odds were against them having an obscure sense of humor like me so I cut it

btw, I should find out soon if that's actually a possibility, my boss liked it but we have to get it past his boss

Our VP is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed and very much NOT in touch with real working people. Not to mention, going for coffee is also largely a networking and creative opportunity. I don't think she'll see an increase in productivity, although there might be an increase in morale (but that has more to do with our improving stock price than anything else).
