Can I go to yours instead? :D
You can come as my guest! The surgeons are hilarious when we're all out socially... in the office they can kind of be pricks, so it's fun to see their more 'human' side!

I'd rather be mugged & beaten than party with a bunch of phoney-baloney 50-something losers with a lousy comb-over trying to pick up the 20-something skanks who'd starve to death if they ever had to get a real job.
Merry Christmas, my aching a$$!
Those jerk-offs no more give a damn if I have a Merry Christmas than the man on the moon.
ahhhhhhhhhhh, the true spirit of the holiday. Doesn't it just touch your heart

Now I work for a small company where everyone is allowed an opinion on the party and no one can come to terms with location, food, etc. So, it is now one week away from the date of the party and guess who has to plan it?!
John Bocabella?

Just told the boss that I wasn't going to the party because I didn't want to have to go through the "bring a date" thing.

I think I just got out of planning it too!!

We've generally gone out to dinner in the past, just about 10 -12 of us workers only and paid our own way. But in the past 2 years we've had quite a change-over of employees. Most of the good old ones are gone, and the ones that are there now are mostly horrible, I don't want to spend my hard-earnd $ to go out to dinner with backstabbing, bi-polar bit****!

Merry Christmas :)

Ours are pretty fun.

My company usually takes over some trendy restaurant/club in San Francsico. My first one was on my 2nd week at the company, was hosted by drag queens and an employee did a strip tease on the bar.

The parties get pretty wild and someone always gets drunk and makes a fool of themselves (not me, not yet). This year's party is Saturday at the Supper Club in San Francisco. It is also our 25th aniversary party and we've been told it will be very "interesting." I looked up the Supper Club on the Internet and one of the rooms is all beds so that could make things VERY interesting! :o :pirate:
