To my keets, It's not "the season" until Jimmy reads Twas' the Night to us...THEN...we can hang our stockings with care...speaking of, the hubby and FIL are outside attempting NOT to fall off ladders putting up our lights and the keets and I will begin decorating the tree. We have to finish before 6pm. Tonight is Messiah at church! aaahhhh, it's Christmas time...Cookie and wassail anyone??? (for me, it's Bailey's in my coffee)

My sentiments entirely...love them all but really love Mele Kalikimaka...a friend and I just finished out 12th year of getting together and cooking many Christmas favorite recipes to share with friends...also have to end with Merry Christmas Alabama...another favorite. I also must comment on our enjoying Peter Mayer's "Stars and Promises Alive". we play this first each year while cooking holiday favorites...Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I voted for "Merry Christmas Alabama" ... but if this poll was about a week later in the season, I'd probably go with "Ho, Ho. Ho".

Sounds like you had a very special time with your friend. My friend and I will get together and make tamales this Friday. I'm sure we'll have some wine and Buffett music playing.

A very nice song, but the only place I know where this is recorded is on the box set.
There is also a version of it on the Parakeet Album.
