The Iguanas

Post by BoozeInTheBlender »

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen them. They had a couple songs on the Margaritaville Cafe Late Night Gumbo CD that came out in 1995. They're coming in concert soon, and wondered if anyone knows anything about them. I think they were on JB's Margaritaville Records label at one time, but I'm not sure.

Great band!

A friend of mine from St. Louis is a huge fan of theirs. Margaritaville released one of the band's albums several years ago.

The one chance I had to see 'em was at a Buffet concert a number of years ago but I think I was sidetracked by a party in the parking lot...

I saw them about 10 years ago at the House of Blues in New Orleans and they were GREAT! If you get the chance to see them live, jump at it.

I bought most of their cds and love their music. I wish I would have caught their show when they were around Texas in October.

I was just watching a Buffett ABC Concert with Jimmy in New Orleans from about '94 and he had the Iguanas performing on stage at Margaritaville.

I really like the song Para Donde Vas that is on the Phenomenon soundtrack.

So how was the "Concerto for Steam Table and Tongs #9 in B flat" when performed live?
