Buffett is on the new Hoot Trailer

Post by phjim »

Jimmy Buffett appears on the trailer for the movie "Hoot". You can see him at the begining of the clip. Also at the end of the trailer it says "soundtrack featuring new music by Jimmy Buffett"

What a way to start a cold snowy day in the midwest! How many days to April? I have read the book and am wondering how the movie will measure up to it. I think Jimmy should be in charge of all teacher training programs. He really looks the part too. :wench:
Gotta go where it's warm! And I got a little closer when I moved to LA (lower Alabama)

Anyone know what the actual rating of the movie will be? Seems like it will be PG.

Victoria has read and seen and loved Holes and Because of Winn Dixie, so I'm sure this will be to her liking. YAY! YAY! YAY!

I guess I'm going to have to find the book now and try to get it read before April (although, I had high hopes of getting ASPOL read before I went to the ASPOL concerts but that didn't happen....oh well). It's worth a shot! Thanks again phjim!

Cool! I'll definitely pick it up this weekend so she can finish it up before the movie actually comes out. :D :D

She just finished the entire Narnia series :o :o so I'm taking her to see the movie this weekend. We have a pretty strict "must read the book before you see the movie" rule in our house. :D :D

Here's a link to the director, Wil Shriner's, website. The homepage has a pic of him, Jimmy and Carl Hiassen. There had been other photos, but I don't see them there now. However there are downloads that I haven't downloaded, so maybe there's something else there!
