Of course it is. It means um.... Hmmmm.... I'll get back to you on this one.SMLCHNG wrote:mings wrote: In fact, Mings was texted initially, by Miss Christina. Is that a word?
He was late and he behaved himself because one of the surveillance teams "bumped" into him and had a er hmmmmm er ...hmmmmmmmm conversation .....YEAH THAT'S THE TICKET!!! A CONVERSATION with him that let him understand in no uncertain terms that if he was not the perfect gentlemen and if he HAD any untowards motivations whatsoever, that some not so nice and not so pleasant things would happen to him and he could cancel Christmas for the rest of his life and would not have to be concerned about plans for celebrating New Years.MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:I'm back..
I'm such a jack@ss... got there right on time and was p*** b/c when I called rick my calls were going right to vm.. I figured I'd give it some time as we were in NH and reception up there wasn't that great... In the meantime, I was texting mings back and forth and listening to the pats game.. I called a few more times and was getting very annoyed when I saw a car that looked like his.. I figured before I left I should probably go in the store and see if he was in there... sure enough after sitting in the car for almost 40 minutes there he was waiting for me near the door..
Anyway, the date was great... we went to dinner and had a blast... great conversation the whole time and he was soooo cute... excused himself to use the restroom and when he came back he sat next to me on my side of the table.. we went and got some coffee after dinner and then headed home... All in all a great time...![]()
as I got to this thread late,MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:I have a lunch date tomorrow and I'm not sure what to wear... Normally when I go on dates it's at night so you kinda dress up a bit but this is in the middle of the day... I don't want to be too dressed up but I also don't want to be under dressed. I haven't got a clue as to where we are going and what else he has planned. What's my safest bet? Please remember it's dead of winter up here, so yes mings clothes are required..![]()
and overdressed means "unwrapping the presents" builds the anticipation more.Lundah wrote:Personally, I'd rather my date was overdressed than underdressed, so I'd recommend the sweater and slacks over jeans. Don't be afraid to show off a little style, if he's at all like me, that's a good thing.
Is it still a "nooner" if the festivities don't start until 2:15p?nycparrothead wrote:SWEET!!! Christina's having a nooner!
you're older, and have rocks; we can be more "direct" rather than having to use euphemisms like we do with Christina.sunseeker wrote:remind me to never tell you boys when I head out on a date....![]()
Or in this case - 2:55???RinglingRingling wrote:Is it still a "nooner" if the festivities don't start until 2:15p?nycparrothead wrote:SWEET!!! Christina's having a nooner!
I think you missed the post on another thread where I was permitted to make up words. Something about it being good for my self-confidence.SMLCHNG wrote:mings wrote: In fact, Mings was texted initially, by Miss Christina. Is that a word?

But this thread was about what to wear, not your date, so what did you wear?

Bit of advice... Don't tell him that you told your "internet friends" about him... Most people think that having "internet friends" is really geeky!MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:Thanks guys...It was nice to go out with a guy who wasn't a complete @$$.. We shall see how things progress..
