I'm such a jack@ss... got there right on time and was p*** b/c when I called rick my calls were going right to vm.. I figured I'd give it some time as we were in NH and reception up there wasn't that great... In the meantime, I was texting mings back and forth and listening to the pats game.. I called a few more times and was getting very annoyed when I saw a car that looked like his.. I figured before I left I should probably go in the store and see if he was in there... sure enough after sitting in the car for almost 40 minutes there he was waiting for me near the door..

Anyway, the date was great... we went to dinner and had a blast... great conversation the whole time and he was soooo cute... excused himself to use the restroom and when he came back he sat next to me on my side of the table.. we went and got some coffee after dinner and then headed home... All in all a great time... :D :D
He was late and he behaved himself because one of the surveillance teams "bumped" into him and had a er hmmmmm er ...hmmmmmmmm conversation .....YEAH THAT'S THE TICKET!!! A CONVERSATION with him that let him understand in no uncertain terms that if he was not the perfect gentlemen and if he HAD any untowards motivations whatsoever, that some not so nice and not so pleasant things would happen to him and he could cancel Christmas for the rest of his life and would not have to be concerned about plans for celebrating New Years.
It was also mentioned that there was the LARGE possibility of a video being released that caught him, in a most embarassing act when he was 13 being made available to his parents and the national news, "The Enquirer", his coworkers and all former and potential employers.....He promised to be good and gave his word to behave after being shown the video.

The team did not have to rough him up....well not too much anyway, to convince him to be a nice guy and a GOOD guy.. though they let him experince one fireant bite on a portion of his anatomy that you best not have seen and he will never admit to...(why do you think he went to the restroom....you think he really had to go...??  8) :pirate: :pirate: ) :D
Now about what you wore.... even it was cold did you REALLY have to wear that kind of underwear???
I mean that probably cost you close to a week's salary! 8)

Now about what you ordered in the restaurant.....what was wrong with the menu and just WHY did you have to order THAT??? Somebody is gonna have to have another talk with somebody else.... 8) :pirate:

Glad the both of you had a good time and we didn't have to take him down in front of you!!! All though contingency plans were in place for that. 8) :pirate:

I don't want to be too dressed up but I also don't want to be under dressed. I haven't got a clue as to where we are going and what else he has planned. What's my safest bet? Please remember it's dead of winter up here, so yes mings clothes are required.. :P
as I got to this thread late,

a) jeans and a sweater works
b) something difficult to remove, even if the chemistry is such that you are setting fire to the building around you just shaking hands
c) "If you don't shave your legs before a date, you probably won't sleep with him" - Bonnie Hunt, "Return to Me"

Lundah wrote:Personally, I'd rather my date was overdressed than underdressed, so I'd recommend the sweater and slacks over jeans. Don't be afraid to show off a little style, if he's at all like me, that's a good thing.
and overdressed means "unwrapping the presents" builds the anticipation more. :)

Is it still a "nooner" if the festivities don't start until 2:15p?

you're older, and have rocks; we can be more "direct" rather than having to use euphemisms like we do with Christina. :D

I think you missed the post on another thread where I was permitted to make up words. Something about it being good for my self-confidence.

But this thread was about what to wear, not your date, so what did you wear? :)
For the record, Mings was not trying to distract her from her date. In fact, Mings was texted initially, by Miss Christina.

I am in awe. I did not know you could write those kind of stories at 150 characters per message... You're gonna have Blackberry Thumbs at this rate Mings. :D

Bit of advice... Don't tell him that you told your "internet friends" about him... Most people think that having "internet friends" is really geeky!
