Hey those folks driving from the west cost of Florida, do you take alligator alley or Tamiami trail? I have heard the later will cut an hour off the drive? anyone else gone this route?

48 hours till I start my journey to Key West!
One thing to remember about the Key West airport. It is the only airport in the country where you can only have 1 (one!) checked bag. Last time I left Key West with about 60 lbs of parrothead stuff, but it was in one bag and they didn't complain too much.
