I was probably one of those. Remember how we couldn't all fit into the room?
Hubby and I were in the group that got booted out, but we hung around and
he helped fold shirts in the registration room. I just waited until the crowd
thinned out and jumped back into the goody bag line. :D :D :D Good times.

I'm still going to MOTM 2006...I noticed that I wasn't added to the list yet. Still trying to find a good house to rent close to all the action. I think we have 6-8 people going. Almost booked one, but then someone snagged it the day we were going to call. :(

that explains that... my shirt was folded funny intentionally.. all part of your masterful Stalking Plan.. "Look for the guy in the funny shirt", wasn't it.. :D

As you can see I'm new at this and a group of us are in the planning stages of attending MOTM, any advice from you veterans? Or are there any good website resources to use?

Might I suggest a "Get Jake to MOTM" campaign? I sent an email to one of the organizer guys, Alex ( alexjboyz@aol.com ), suggesting he try to get Jake Shimabukuro on the schedule for MOTM. Jake has such a great style, is fun, friendly and very talented. I'd love to see him jamming with some others down there, too. So, if you're so inclined, put in another request for Jake! 8)

Where is everyone staying?I stayed at The Southermost Hotel last year and it was very nice, but they are booked up :( :( ! I made a reservation at the Atlantic Shores. Has anyone ever stayed there? As long as it is clean and I do see that they have their own liquor store which is a plus!!!!!! Their rates are pretty reasonable since I will probably end up going myself since my lame friends who were supposed to go with me can't give me a yes or no answer!!!!!!  That's okay though,as long as I get to go! THey will miss all the fun!

Uh I cannot recomend the AS. I stayed there last year and the room
while clean was bathed in smoke a no smoking room
at that.. if the smoke does not bother you well I guess it's OK
kind of seedy and in the last stages of its being.. IMHO

BTW last year dit you see this guy?

I haven't received a reply. I guess I'm hoping a few more requests might help insure he's at least looking into it. 8) 8)
