So - do you think he knows about BN? Should I make a sign?

Make a "Kenny Chesneynews.com" sign. It'll be a big hit.

That may not work but he has been working with that other pariah of the music business these days, the atrocious Mr. Pat "I Can't Write A Song Without Texas in the Title" Green. I love Jerry Jeff but perhaps the years are starting to catch up with him.
I know Django wrote a song Pat sang, but didn't know about JJ.
No, Nancy, I'm not planning to make that show.
But have fun and give us a review
And take pics!!!

I'll have to do some research but I'm pretty sure Jerry Jeff and Pat have done some shows together.

To Jah: Jerry Jeff and Pat Green have certainly done stuff together, but I don't think Pat sings to cash in on the Texas music movement. I think he sings what he lives. I don't think he aligns himself with Jerry Jeff to make money...I think he really likes Jerry Jeff and considers him his FRIEND.
There have been quite a few visits by Pat to Jerry Jeff's BDB. Heck, one night he sat up on stage the whole evening. Pat has gotten bad-mouthed quite a bit by JJW fans for doing immature drunken things. He's grown up a lot, I think.
They all (Charlie, Pat, Robert Earl) get bad-mouthed for selling out when they actually start to write some hits and get some national recognition. (Nanci Griffith got bad-mouthed too and will hardly ever come back to Texas to perform.)
Bla bla bla...it's an ongoing story of who sells out and who uses who to make it in this crazy business!!!!
Jah, you know it's just an old criticism of them all. They'll all end up back in Texas sooner or later in the dance halls, theaters, bars and honky tonks doing what they need to do and lovin just being able to make the music. I don't know why I felt the need to rant. I guess it was that word atrocious.

Sorry.
Sorry, Renee!!!
Enjoy the show and know how much Jerry Jeff is loved now and how it wasn't always that way until Susan, his wife, took his business over!!!
I hope he is feeling well and gives you one hell of a show with plenty of TEXAS flavor.
