has anybody tried these? I'm curious if they really work. I'm thinking about ordering a pair for my one son. But sticky shoes for a kid who lives on the beach? I can't imagine them really lasting a year.

I am also intersted in ordering them for myself has anyone ever had a pair? How bad was it to take them off?
