Not my desire or intention to bring focus on anything depressing or down this close to Christmas.
First round of funerals get underway tomorrow at 1pm eastern here in Florida, then out to Bimini for a number more. So many have asked, too many to repeat, what could be done if anything. Today Michelle's mother made a request that I thought I would pass along. Her family has asked that in lieu of flowers please make donations to an operation that she held very close to her heart.

I am quite aware that she is a mystery to the board, but you can take my word for it that she would have fit in here very well.

I wouldn't expect anyone to actually send flowers, but if you have the means and desire to contribute (maybe not now, but in the future) to a very special place for her. If all you can do is spread the word of this operation I am sure it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like Michelle and I were kindred spirits. My life is poorer for not knowing her in person.

It is indeed a very worthwhile cause, and my check will be going out as well. What a wonderful way to honor her memory.

And yes, considered this topic stickied.

This sounds like a great group. Sorry we didn't get a chance to know Michelle.

Two donations mailed out on Friday. Hope it somehow makes the holidays a little easier to get through.
