Okay. So I just got into this band and I'm wondering who can recommend what. I know about Archive.org, and nugs.net for free show downloads, but are there other sites? How often do they play? I don't know.
Tell me what I need to know about these cats. Thanks.

They're "related" to Jimmy Buffett!

(All musical artists are...)

If you're referring to the o.a.r. that sings 'love and memories', their site lists their current schedule:

Hope that's the right band, and hope that helps. I love their music

AHHH YES..WELCOME TO A NEW WORLD! I saw my 7th OAR show about a month or so ago...such a great show....you really need to pick up some of the old CD's and live albums. I am actually very dissapointed in their newest album. It's got too much of a mainstream sound to it. Their old stuff is the greatest...also check out oarfans.com for other info. They're still on the low side of the industy...but they keep growing so watch out..soon they'll be selling out stadiums instead of just the ballrooms and House Of Blues

Actually, I propose 8 oars and a nice sleek racing shell. Now that's boating.
(Did I just hijack my own thread?)
