Perhaps. The Drake is on Walton and Michigan on the north side of the street. On the south side of the street is a really tall building, older, that was the home to the original Playboy staff if I remember right.
I know where the Drake is... I actually worked there for like 3 days about 3.5 years ago. It's on the NE corner of Walton and Michigan as you suggest and across Walton to the south is the famous Knickerbocker hotel. Maybe Hef worked from there... not exactly a must-see for FPP though...
Knickerbocker is between The Drake and the Hancock Tower? I also figured you knew where the Drake was, but was using it as the anchorpoint for directions to the building.

and you have to admit that it's better (the old Playboy offices) than the Circuit City on Chicago and about Rush...

no dear. that would be a tremendously-long list. I was just saying that given his dashingmanabouttown aspirations, pictures in front of the old Playboy offices would be better than in front of the Comp USA (not Circuit City)

and I was wrong. The Knickerbocker is across the street from the Drake, but not on the corner. The Palmolive Bldg. is the one where the offices were. It fronts on Michigan Ave, not Walton Pl.

I can't believe it's almost GO time!!!! Volleyball Wednesday, Girl Scouts Thursday, then balcony girls do "Chicago" Friday and Saturday!!! Woo hoo!!!

I even bought a new cooler for the occasion!!
