Camden County politician set to become Assembly speaker

TRENTON, N.J. -- A career politician schooled in Camden County politics, Assembly Democratic leader Joseph J. Roberts Jr., is set to ascend to the most powerful post in the lower house when the 212th Legislature convenes on Jan. 10.

A liberal Democrat with a strong work ethic and a passion for Jimmy Buffett's tropical rock music, Roberts is about to become the third most powerful lawmaker in Trenton, behind Gov.-elect Jon Corzine and Senate President Richard Codey.

Yep that's right... I vote Jimmy Buffett for President

yeah, but NJ is one of the most messed up states. He won't be rocking in the lots too much with how much there is to fix on his agenda.

And, after all, he has shown his excellent judgment in one important way, wouldnt you say?

I don't really know about he Metro PH Club but at least one of the dudes coming on January 19th is older than most redwoods.... I'm not a member of the Metro PH club, I just hang with the yahoos on BN for my PH entertainment!

I live in NJ and the gov't here is TOTALLY screwed up.
