Still thinking of you Debbie and Bill... Good Luck - looks like you are in the home stretch. I have been tossing and turning since 3am... I need better sleep advice. I wake up every morning at 3:45... of course thisd morning I was actually sleeping and Elizabeth came in with a bad dream doh!!!

I like the name Evan Thomas - only E.T. would be a pretty funy nickname.... :D

Les is actually Leslie Edward. He forbids Leslie as he had to "suffer" with it so that is out (no unisex names I guess  )

Evan Norton? - poor guy...... jk!

Evan James Criscillo sounds nice... my Dad is John.... the "J" middle names seem to go nicely... I would love to have my Dad's name in there somewhere.... Oh that reminds me .. I need a liitle phin power for him!

Take care everyone!

I just have this thing about the "flow"....lol I kind of like Evan Michael - but if anyone has any good ideas... let me know.
I like Evan James...

flows well and it has the 'Jimmy' Buffett connection

I wish I had some great sleep advice for you. I woke up several nights at 3:00 a.m. and could not go back to sleep. I would get up for a couple of hours and then lay back down around 5:00, only to have to get back up again around 6:00. I had to just start making myself stay in bed, so I could function the next day. It feels like your body is really preparing you for all the sleepless nights after the baby comes, way before he even gets here. Good Luck and I hope it gets better for you. If you're still working, then you definitely need your sleep at night.

Yay!! He's finally here!
That's exactly how much Kyle weighed at birth (at 41 weeks as well!)
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Play!
Can't wait to see pictures!

I went to the Dr. earlier today (last appt til the C-section on Tuesday) and she commented on how she thought this might be a pretty big baby (at least 8 lbs already was her guess!). Everyone has been saying they think I am having a big baby, I guess they weren't just being rude about how huge I am! :D But we will find out for sure on Tuesday!

Wow – what a day! We got to the hospital at 6AM. They hooked up the IV, gave her an epidural, and introduced pitocin around 8AM. She started having strong contractions and her water broke within an hour. The doctor arrived at 10:15 and she started pushing. The baby was turned sideways so the doctor had to use forceps to turn and extract him. It was scary for a minute but he came out fine and there were no complications. I don’t care how many times you see it – the miracle of life never loses its maginc. It is an unbelievable experience to witness the birth of a human being.

I was still nervous for the first hour or so, waiting to confirm that everything was ok. So far everything is fine and we expect to bring the baby home tomorrow or Saturday. I’m staying home with the older boys to keep some normalcy for them. My biggest concern right now is making sure that they don’t feel left out or neglected.

Here we are in pre-labor shortly before the induction. I’ll share more pictures in a separate thread.

It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend
