Who told the Chinese? Logan since he told the Bluetooth gang Jack would be taken care of?
I forgot about that. I just thought that he thought that Jack would try to coerce him into a confession as he did, but he wouldn't admit anything until Jack could be taken into custody, but Jack one upped him the pen microphone.
You know, after Charles searched his wife for a wire, and didn't find one, I thought they were still being "tapped" by her. He tore off everthing, felt everywhere, but then she was holding up her hands, with her gloves on! I said to my husband I bet she has a recorder in her gloves.
And you know, with Jack's track record with women, maybe Audrey tipped off the chinese? You know there has to be a twist.

Where did the Chinese come from? Who all knew Jack was alive? I mean though it took us 24 episodes over the course of a few months, the show was only 24 hours. The only thing I could fathom is that the Chinese intel is as good as CTU and they heard Bauer was in town. (like that reference?) I really thought they were going to kill him to end the season, just to keep pace with all the other season finales this year. I know Keifer has signed on for three more years, but that doesn't mean he'll be the star as he is an executive producer as well. I don't know who could fill his role though, the closest person was Chase and he lost his hand. Curtis isn't that dynamic, so I doubt he could carry the show.
There are A LOT of unanswered questions. I knew it was too good to be ture with 15 minutes left. I figured one of two things could have happened at that point A) someting bad had to happend to Jack or someone he loved or B) they would tie up the loss ends. I don't think they left so many unanswered questions in previous years. Damn you FOX!
In a recent interview, Kiefer described it as an option to appear for the next 3 years, but he says that does not mean they will use him. Only time will tell

I think when Logan said "Bauer will be taken care of" it meant he or Graham gave the Chinese Jack's whereabouts and knew they would jump at the invitation.
I don't think Audrey would do that, but you know, nobody can be trusted!!
Great season finale, heart-pounding stuff! The ending bothered me because poor ol' Jack doesn't have his bag of tricks! No cell phone, no PDA, no weapon, no toothbrush, no C4, no clean shirt, no NOTHING!!! He's going to have to be like MacGuyver and rig an escape from a shoelace and drinking straw.

Something has to happen that prevents the ship from making it all the way to China. It's such a long trip, it would take more than half the episodes next season to get Jack back to the U.S.

He could jump ship as they pass Hawaii and get with the USN....
But then they said they (chinese) have plans for him...so they could just "reprogram him" and send him back to the states as a spy for them?
I didn't start watching the show until the fifth season so I'm getting the first four from Netflix and watching them. Just finishing up season two now.

So....that was awesome. Won't ruin anything for any west coasters (and if you are a said left coaster, why exactly are you watching this and not watching???). Forgot how much I loved this show.

I think it's going to be a good season. I LOVE Chloe's line in the previews about being a stay at home mom.

I'm going to miss CTU though.
