 I know it's the popular thing to say, but shouldn't this be the Inagural.... not the First Annual. I appreciate the spirit of wanting to do it annually, but until the second event, it's not annual.

I hope I can be there, it sounds like a delicious day.

I do up a killer gumbo, transcribed from an old NOLA family recipe. Will you be accepting "mail in" compitition samples?
John
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!

A recipe? for GUMBO???
Aw, c'mon! You gotta wing it!

I want to know if we have to make our roux on site,
or if we can pre-make it and bring it with us. It's too
tricky to imagine making a roux on the spot.

Let us know if you will be there, Lacey and I will come up and meet you!

Lacey's gumbo recipe is from a neighbor from when she lived in N.O.
Crystal was an old 9th warder who felt sorry for the newlywed next door, and taught her to cook!
