I have counseled many friends who have had that conversation with their parents. And what would you do if it was your son-would you disown them?

I'm guessing if this movie starred Scarlett Johanson and Jessica Alba instead of Jake Gylenhall and Heath Ledger, people would be lined up around the block to see it and it would be the biggest grossing movie of the year.

If he's happy, being treated well by his partner and he's happy after the initial shock wore off I'd be fine with it. I would think he'd be alot better off than if my daughter came home with a close minded person like you. Did you ever think maybe YOU were taught wrong??? Didn't God teach you to love ALL his children? Not just the ones that acted the way you do???

a) don't have kids, but if I did, I wouldn't care. First question is: are they happy together? Second: what difference does it make? There are a lot of fragged-up hetero couples out there, hellbent on making each other miserable.
