You did.

And to answer someone else's question about buying the paper just for a hat, any girl will tell you that proper accesorization is CRUCIAL.

I missed Mal's offer this morning as well, thank you for trying to help.

I can't get anything done around here since our neighbors upstairs cannot take a dang hint to be quiet. 6 phone calls and 2 complaint letters from the office and the folks upstairs shrug it off and retailate instead of acting like adults. That is probably the reason why I asked did I mention the right paper this morning.

Every single night from 8 til almost midnight their kid stomps to the point where pictures come off the wall. Both Mrs Alan11 and myself have to get up at 6 to go to work and when the kid acts up the parents turn up the TV louder. I don't want to call the police but it is obvious they don't care. We both have been up there and told them they are too loud but they play the we don't understand english well card when they damn well do. The problem is we have to make a decision by Feb 1 to renew our lease or not, I don't think we should have to move because some a-hole who has been here only 2 months thinks they own the freaking building. I know this was about the paper but the kid right now is stomping as I type and I needed to rant

:( Understood, Alan. We've got some pretty great neighbors.. 'Cept the one above us, at times. I SWEAR they are dropping dumbells on the floor - several times a week. Pictures don't fall off, but good grief! It makes me jump outta my seat! Just keep complaining to management. Be calm and well spoken. And let them know if it continues, you will call the police. Hang in there!

Oh! And get a broom or something, and bang back on the ceiling when they do it! :P

Thank ya maam, the first thing the office told us to do is not to retialiate against them, keep calling the office and let the folks upstairs hang themselves sorta speak. We love living here, been here 4 years and this entire community is safe and quiet, we have left our place unlocked before by accident and didn't sweat it. We knew living on the really good side of town would cost a little more but we got a heck of a deal when we moved here so that was an added bonus.

Both the boss and myself told the office, either take care of the problem or we aren't signing the new lease. It costs 2000 to break from your lease the legal way. I am not sure how well they enforce it but they have a 3 strikes and your out policy here, after the 3rd letter you got 30 days to shape up or move from the premises or be charged with trespassing.

Today they got their 2nd noise letter and they let us know how p*** they were when we got home from the store tonight. We have a notebook with all the times they show their ass and everytime the office gets a call we give them the info. I know for a fact we aren't the only ones who have complained about them.

I think you're doing the right thing.. If the office enforces their rules, the neighbors will be gone before you know it. :-? Just hang in there. It's not easy, but hopefully you'll win this one.

Fingers crossed, the only bad thing about all this is we have 2 weeks to decide on what to do. The office is good on not putting up with junk but it is a crap shoot on whether they can control these pests.

It is at the point where both of us dread going home after work, and the saddest thing is our dog gets so scared he curls up in a ball and won't come out to do anything. I can handle them p*** me and my wife off but we draw the line at them scaring the dog. Suppose we had a little child or babysat our 16 month old niece at our place we would never get any sleep above the little we get now and I would have kicked someones ass upstairs for tramatuzing the 16 month old.

We have a meeting with the office manager tomorrow or monday, it is 1030 here so the fun hasn't begun yet. He starts up around 1045 again and goes to about midnight.

:( :( :( :( on the dog. I so agree.

And I guess just see how the meeting goes, and then decide. I know you say you like the place, and why should you move? But would it be worth it to look for another place just for peace and your sanity? :-? You might find a new place is just as good, and what you need. :)

BTW? We're NOT helping you move. ;)
