Ok, I just bought my first restaurant and I am doing an autographed memorabilia wall. I have plenty of autographed items but none from Jimmy. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get my hands on something that I can frame and put up in the restaurant so everyone knows i am a parrothead. Many thanks in advance to any help. Post, PM whatever, if you have any info for me. Again thanks in advance for any help

Send a letter to Key West M-ville and request a signed photo.... I am not sure I would mention you are putting it in a place of business.
Just an idea

Sending a letter to M-ville could take awhile.
If you are in a hurry, try

Yes, I hate people that sell autographs on ebay, too, but if you are in a hurry for something for your wall.
I don't know, but the autographs do look right.

This place is at The Pier in St. Petersburg and I've seen some autographed JB items in there...if anyone gets to the area, this shop will keep you busy for awhile...

Couldn't hurt to send them an email...

go a different route. Let your customers sign the wall.

Already taken by Gino's East: tables, chairs, walls.....
I don't know type of clientel(sp) you're trying to attract at this establishment, but I'm sure if you gave us more information, we could offer up some alternate ideas.

On a related note, I have a picture of Jimmy signed to me, and a signed "Meet Me in Margaritaville" cd on my wall at work... Mr FedEx just delivered a package, noticed them while I was signing, and asked "you met Jimmy Buffett"? I explained how it was a brief encounter on stage from winning a costume contest, and he replied "How cool!!"
Love them FedExers!

Yep... and there are (or were) at least three booths with my initials worked into the area using a key and patience.. ;D

I'd request a signed photo from Jimmy (through M'ville) and I'd disclose what it's for. He seems much more likely to sign things when they're personalized (to reduce the eBay marketability), and telling him why you want it is a neat story to me. And a personalized JB pic on your wall would be that much more cool! (As long as you're not part of the Hawaiian "other" CIP chain, I think he'd go for it.

) Good luck!
Congrats on the new restaurant, BTW.

You might wanna post some info about the restaurant?
Some of us have been known to eat in restaurants occasionally.

Thanks for the interest in the restaurant, for any Jersey Shore parrotheads, the restaurant will be in Jackson, NJ, not near Great Adventure but the other side on the border of Howell and Lakewood. The place will be a NY style Delicatessan with a 90 seat restaurant. The opening will be sometime in march, hopefully and will be called Signature Delicatessan & Restaurant. Anyone in the area, i would love to see you when we open, print this out and receive $1 off each sandwich or entree ordered.
Hope to see you all there
