I once herad his say he only does that one at islands shows. I saw him do it at M'ville in KW with St Somewhere and heard him do it on Long Island at one of the benefit shows he did. Not sure if he has ever done it on the mainland, thought I am sure he has.

Hey, i like the idea of Late in the evening

i'd rather hear an original but since we're on the topic of cover songs

how about kenny ches... just kidding

for some reason i would like to hear buffett do something celtic flavored

maybe mark Knopflers "what it is" or "why aye man" or great big seas "boston and Saint John" or something of Shane MacGowans with a buffett twist

Yeah- I've decided I love all Island music, regardless of the latitude of the island! I had a really hard time deciding between the Cinci show and the Milwaukee Irish Fest this summer!!

Buffett did it at Buckeye Lake in the mid 90's.

I know gaelic storm too....They use to put on a great show at the irish festival at stonehill college in Mass, but it hasn't been the same since they moved it to canton...

On another note.....Great Big Seas boston to st john would be an unbelieveable cover!!!

Yep. On the Millenium show. It's my favorite Stones song and I love when Jimmy does it too.

If I had to pick a cover to hear instead of BEG, that would be it, but anything of Jimmy's own work would be preferable.
