SpongeBob SquarePants Theme Song lyrics
Captain: Are you ready kids?
Kids: Aye-aye Captain.
Captain: I can't hear you...
Kids: Aye-Aye Captain!!
Captain: Oh! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: If nautical nonsense be something you wish...
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish!
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: Ready?
EveryBody: SpongeBob SquarePants! SpongeBob SquarePants! SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: SpongeBob.... SquarePants! Haha.

All we need now is for someone to Buffettize this.

I'd like to hear that with a tropical spin to it. Maybe a reggae beat, steel drums.... You're onto something.
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

I'd love to see him keep it in the (CR) family and cover another Peter Mayer song. He's already recorded Lucky Stars and Blue Guitar.

how about one of these Jimmy?

I used to think I'd love to hear Jimmy sing Vahevala. But now I think that would be better for the expanded Club Trini.

Jimmy should cover JT's Captain Jim's Drunken Dream.

If not that, how about JT's That's Why I'm Here "Some are like summer, they come back every year".

This is very hard for me to mention because only one person in my opionion, Brian Wilson, can really give it justice and ownership.

But I think that Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer band would do a killer version of "Good Vibrations".

Especailly if Fingers Taylor could sit in on harmonica for some of the parts.

I had compiled a list of songs that would fit Jimmy well.....

For his final concert ever--- Close with Slip Sliding Away

other songs that would work great

Still Crazy After All These Years - Paul Simon
Seven Bridges Road - Eagles ( since a few of the Coral Reefer Men can actually sing)
Load Out Song - Jackson Browne
Salt Of The Earth - Rolling Stones
Suite Judy Blue Eyes - CSNY
Ooh La La - The Faces
For What Its Worth - Buffalo Springfield
Here's A Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares - Travis Tritt

Would like to hear Summer's Here by James Taylor.

I really like the Warren Zevon cover Lawyers, Guns & Money!

Maybe a Don Henley tune... Boys of Summer

Coconut by Widespread Panic

Hello all,
New to posting but have been lurking awhile. This thread convinced me it was time to speak up.

How about:

Storm Front: Billy Joel
Sweet Revenge: John Prine
or
Mozambique:Bob Dylan

Be kind.
